Description

Take a ferry to Mugi Town's outlying island, Tebajima Island, where you can witness the national designated natural monument "shiratamamo." You can also take a guided tour of the important traditional buildings preservation district that has buildings remaining from the Meiji through Showa periods, such as shop fronts. Take in the unchanged scenery of the fishing harbor, feel the southern atmosphere when surrounded by hibiscus, and explore the island. Enjoy a Tebajima set lunch at a waterfront home, consisting of mazekuri (mixed rice), simmered deep-sea porgy, island somen noodles, and sweet jellied red bean paste.
